A recipe I am just trying so I'll get back and let you know how it turns out...
Turned out pretty good. A great session beer.
Extract
5 gallon batch
1 lb Breiss Crystal 40
.5 lbs Torrified Wheat
3 lbs Pale LME
3 lbs Amber LME
1 oz. Hallertau hops 45 min.
1/2 oz. Tettnager 30 min.
1 oz Williamette 15 min.
1 teaspoon Irish moss 15 min.
English Ale Yeast WLP002
(try a batch with split yeasts - wlp 007 dry english ale-wlp575 belgian style ale)
OSG: 1.038
FG: 1.008
ABV: 4%
IBU: 39.3
5-14-16 BATCH OG 1.042

same steeping grains
3 lbs amber lme
3 lbs wheat lme instead of pale lme
1 oz crystal hops @ 45 min
1/2 oz tettnanger @30 min
1 oz E. kent goldings @15 minutes
wlp002 yeast
